About Youngha

Youngha Park is a multidisciplinary designer and artist. After receiving his BFA in Communication Design from Samsung Art & Design Institute and Parsons The New School for Design, he started his career as a Graphic Designer at ZONA Design, New York. He worked for various clients such as Time Inc., MOCA Miami, Travel Channel, and Nam June Paik Studios. He received his MFA in Visual Communication Design from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After graduation, he worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Karim Rashid Inc., New York. His clients include 3M, Hyundai Motors, LG Electronics/Hausys, Megafon, and Vondom. After that, Youngha joined Interbrand Seoul office as Brand Design Manager, where he worked for clients such as PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games organizing committee, Hyundai Motors, AmorePacific, and Kumho Tire. After serving as Creative Director at Karim Rashid Korea & Ecojun Company, he currently works as Head of PCP Design at SPC Group. As freelance designer/artist, he has participated in various projects and exhibitions. His works have been selected in many national/international design awards including Red Dot Award, Type Directors Club NY, AIGA, ADAA, and Pentawards. Also, his designs were exhibited/introduced at Maison & Objet Paris, Salone Del Mobile Milano, The Hague Design Biennale, Gwangju Design Biennale, Typojanchi International Typography Biennale, and TEDxCA Conference. He is a member of AIGA(American Institute of Graphic Art) and KST(Korean Society of Typography). He has taught Visualization Methodology at Graduate School of Design of Ewha Womans University and Branding I at College of Design of Kookmin University. Youngha is the author of 'Treasure Depot of New York'.
